Hi everyone,

I know Michael’s not Catholic, but, hey, I saw him at World Youth Day in 93 in Denver and have been a big fan of him ever since.

I am going on his cruise to Alaska in July, and was wondering if there were any other Catholics going on this cruise? I’d love to hook up!

God Bless,

Barbara

Always struck me as a recycled Bob Dylan only with Christian words.

I didn’t like him when I first saw him. I thought he was too “showey” in concert. But I’ve grown to love his music. Now I have several of his CDs. I didn’t even know he had a cruise. Can you tell me about it?

I have the one cd by him which features the lovely track “Healing Rain” it’s a good cd.

I think his music is great, and my young daughters enjoy it too. I would much rather encourage them to listen to him than Britney Spears!

I love Michael W. Smith’s music! He has amazing talent and I could sit and watch him play the piano forever! (Being a pianist myself :D) I have many of his CDs, mostly his newer stuff, but a couple CDs with his greatest hits or whatever.

Not going on the cruise though :(.

I definitely enjoy his music… particularly his song called “Emily”! 😉

I really like his music, from the old 80’s stuff right on up to today! I own several cd’s of his. I LOVE his Worship CD’s, they bring tears to my eyes.

I went to a concert of his ages ago, would love to go again. I don’t recall him being showy at all…but times have changed.

He’s one of our favorite artists. When he is playing piano and not singing he reminds me of Schroeder (sp) from the Peanuts, bent way down with his nose to the keys. He loves God. I do hope that he will convert someday.

We played “Friends” at my sister’s funeral 20 years ago. She was in college and it was a special song for all of her classmates.
