The Ten Commandments is about it for my family. It usually airs around Passover, which overlaps with Easter, but not this year. And it’s not the same just watching the DVD, which we don’t have anyway. By the end of the film, it appears as though Charlton Heston BECOMES Moses. Ben-Hur (the later and more famous version) is also a great spectacle of a movie, but I never got into it.
That does seem like a good one to watch with your Jewish friends. Both Christians and Jews can relate to it.
TCM was releasing it to movie theaters this year. One showing was last Sunday. It was showing at a theater not too far from my home, we were going to go, but the length of film would have been too long for my kids (almost 4 hours).

My understanding is that it was for only two days last week, Sunday and Wednesday. So sorry, but if you missed it last week, then you missed it.
