Any FULL accounts of why individuals have joined the Catholic Church?

Protestsnt here…in need of some guidance. Can anyone recommend a good book on the history of the Catholic church? Traditions, etc.

Listening to Sacred Heart Radio in the Seattle area, I’ve heard many speakers talking about converting from Protestant to Catholic; but haven’t heard the FULL story of why they did. Any recommended reading on that subject would be much appreciated.

If there is anyone in the greater Seattle area reading this, are there any local groups that I can meet Catholics and other seekers such as myself to learn more?

We sell a good history: “A Short History of the Catholic Church” by Jose Orlandis. Also I would suggest any or all of the three volumes of “Surprised by Truth” by Patrick Madrid.
