Any good Eastern Catholic hymns online?

Forgive my ignorance if I say anything stupid…

Am I correct to understand Eastern Catholic churches have the same hymns as Eastern Orthodox churches have? For example, the Cherubic Hymm, many of your rites use that, right?

I’m asking because I’ve always liked Eastern Orthodox hymns, they were one of the first things that picked my curiosity with the Catholic Church and Eastern Orthdox Church.

If you do indeed have hymns like the Cherubic Hymn, is there any good websites that have them?

Here is the music page from the Annunciation Byzantine Catholic Parish in Illinois. It contains the Cherubic Hymn as well as other Byzantine hymns. Not sure if you’re interested, but other Eastern and Oriental Catholic churches have their own traditions which are also worth exploring. For the Orientals, you could try this page for Maronite Hymns or this one for Armenian hymns. Interestingly, the Syro-Chaldean village of Baqofa (Iraq) has its own webpage, which also has a section for hymns.

The primary difference between Orthodox and Catholic liturgies of the same ethnic tradition, and often the only visible difference, is the papal commemorations and which bishops are commemorated.

We’ve had Orthodox not realize until after liturgy that it was a Catholic parish… tho’ usually those are villagers in town for medical treatment. (There’s a residence within walking distance for families coming in for such treatment.)
