Hi,
My 30 year old son recently attended a Cursillo weekend after many years of being away from the Church; he not only didn’t attend Mass but says he doesn’t think he really believed in the existence of God. I can’t even begin to stress how far “down” he was & falling fast. The Cursillo weekend literally changed his life & my prayers for the Lord’s help in this situation have been answered tenfold! ***P R A I S E G O D !!! ***After such a spiritually uplifting weekend & the wonder of it all, however, he is having a hard time some days coping with many of the things that put him in such a bad place prior to his “weekend”. His sponsor suggested that he pray to a couple of the saints for intercession regarding a couple of these big problems, in particular St. Jude. Since I pray to St. Jude quite often (and did so for the intercession of my son’s life, literally), I was thrilled to hear this. However, my son told me that he doesn’t understand how to do this, that he’s never prayed to a saint & not even to Mary. Since he’s really taking baby steps in his faith right now, I would like to know how to help in this situation (besides praying!) - is there some reading material on this subject? I would appreciate your help on this & thank you in advance.
