Ok, so I will try this again in a different category, with clarifications:
Are there any saints being formed by the Catholic Church today that are on the spiritual stature of St. Padre Pio of Pietrelcina or St. Jean Marie Vianney? Keep in mind I am referring to what would equate in the Eastern Orthodox tradition of a holy elder, someone with great spiritual gifts, known for ascetic deeds and deep insight into the souls of men.
Stories of holy people, laity, clergy, religious who are living?
