I own 9 3D printers down from 12 3D printers. Problem is I tend to print things to mod my 3d printers.

That is so funny!

I think the concept is very interesting and I would love to lool around with one 🙂

Let me ask… do you think there will come a time when people could use them to recycle plastic? For example, take all those plastic bags from the store, put them in a funnel at the top and have the printer turn them into an object?

Wouldn’t that be something!

There are ways to take your 3D printer goof ups and create new filament with them.

I think just taking you scrap plastic and trying to create filament would be hard to do. But I can see large scale recycling be able to do it. I think the chemistry would be hard to do at home.

I found anther youtube video and yes, I can see where it could be done

Ah, this could be so much fun! Design something and ask the printer to make it!

Maybe one day I will get one…

Kind of like my hobby, amateur radio, which is a hobby whereby you use your hobby to talk about your hobby. 80% of traffic on the amateur bands is talking about what kind of equipment you’re using, with another 15% being people marveling at how good your signal sounds even though that’s the setup you’re using (at least if you’re me and you don’t have the money to sink into a kilowatt amp and a huge antenna).

I am also a ham radio operator. Don’t use it but have the license. I have an Icom-7300

Not a real one. But with my next 3D printer I be able to print in one piece 24” by 24” by 48”

Can you 3D print a person?
only if you have two X chromosomes and assistance from someone with a Y . . .

😱 😜 🤣

I’m hoping to be able to use them to print disintegrated plastic parts for my '72 Eldorado convertible . . .
