If so, where are you from, and what Church sui juris did you come into? Did you come into the Church alone or with others besides yourself? How long ago was this?
What denomination/affiliation did you go to? What was the worship and theology like where you came from? What were the theological emphases, missions, service, Reformed Theology, Arminianism, spiritual gifts, etc.?
I was recently Chrismated into the Ukrainian Greek-Catholic Church in a mission at Tennessee in the Eparchy of St. Josaphat out of Parma, OH. I was raised at a very missional and a Reformed (though we also acknowledged man’s responsibility) Southern Baptist 2500 member or so mega-church that plants ecclesial communities all over the world. My father is a leading elder there. I never had any falling out with the ecclesial community I grew up at. I still consider them and am considered by them to be practically family.
Tell me some of your stories. I can share some more of mine too.
