Do we have any runners here? I’ve ‘run’ a few 5Ks since 2013, in my wheelchair.
Just did one on Saturday, in fact, as part of Runkeeper’s Global 5K. I’ll admit Saturday’s run wasn’t a particularly challenging course; it was just a mile and a half down, and a mile and a half back, on one of the ‘rail trails’ in my local area, with plenty of shade from the sun. Very flat course, and in the shade, with only a slight curve. Still, I did it less than 24 hours after being released from the hospital.
