So you’re pro-life….how about martyrdom??? In the post 9-11 era many things have changed…some of those changes have involved personal freedoms ….some of those changes have involved pro-lifers.

If you haven’t already (you might as well be prepared to experience) the joys (humor employed here) of being considered a political activist….mind you I have not heard of any instances where the pro-abortion folks were similarly treated

Political activist……no big deal you say…unless of course

-you want to go on an airplane somewhere and don’t have 4 hours to spend with a screener

-you want to make a private phone call

-you want to go to church without being run off the road by a motorcycle cop

-you want to be treated like a normal patient….normal medication prescription…normal surgery procedures…without the 20 questions game in the middle of a drug induced panic attack and an attempted handoff to the boys in black after the surgery…

-you want to have a normal computer without everything you print being sent somewhere else…with all your financial dealings, stock purchases etc. being monitored and reported.

-you want to spend some time in a hotel visiting with your daughter and you don’t want to have to submit to infra-red video monitoring.

You say they can’t do these things….I disagree…all they have to do is call you some sort of terrorist or child abuser….any body have kids…anybody have foster kids??? Trust me if you are proficient in your defense of the life of the unborn you will experience all or part of the above….just ask your local priest…(give me $250,000. or I turn you in for molesting me when I was a kid [not true but who cares?]).

Mind you, life will not be boring…………in fact it gets kinda interesting when ya start messing with YOUR computer….messing with the files they mess with….making phony (name removed by moderator)uts to your stock portfolio….etc. etc…kinda fun when things get real slow.

Who know who I’m messing with…I have had my I.D. stolen complete with attempted check cashings…some one lurking around the computer modem terminals on the side of our apartment… In any case…good guys or bad…they have been real sloppy so my half a brain has made life a bit more difficult I would guess by messing with the system.

Back to the original though……….us pro-lifers might ought to contemplate what it would be like to be a martyr, then remember that we can kill (or be killed so to speak)

another person with our words….we just trash their reputation…a trashed marty so to speak

Sooooooi…my dear pro-life friends be careful, be faithful, be true and God bless you all.

Whewww!!! You say…This guy is either goofy or maybe just real goofy.

Please don’t be afraid to talk or write about what I have said…I cannot say that all these things happened to me or did not happen….but I have noticed a number readers of the posts and no replies….sometimes my words don’t come out all that well…sorry bout that…I don’t spell very well either and my fingers don’t usually go where they’re supposed to on the keyboard when I type these messages.

I think the short version of the above message is please be careful…they have so many ways to get at you these days it is unbelievable….when ya can’t trust your physician or surgeon who can you trust. So be vigilant and if you think I * jest, ***just look into some of the protesters faces during this political convention (especially they carrying abortion rights signs) and you will see the hate and the anger. There is a war going on out there and anybody that believes in the culture of life may just get the opportunity to be a martyr….in ways never dreamed of…

For instance, I consider “some” of our priests martyrs….killed (their chance of a future destroyed–forced retirement- if you will…much like dying) by a false accusation of impropriety….no…no…I’m not saying they were all false accusations……”some”.

So if you plan to jump in and do the Catholic Pro-Life kinda thing………please be careful……that’s all

I was never promised a world that would be safe.

We take risks every day when we get out of bed in the morning. And we would take a risk by staying bed.

Americans are a nation of risk takers. And most of the people in this forum are Americans. People don’t want to be martyrs, but will push things as far as they can when they think there is a possiblity of adventure.

I always try to do what I believe is safe. However, I have found that my defintion of what is safe, is sometimes someone else’s definition of dangerous, and visa versa.

Most people are concerned with themselves. Therefore, they really don’t care what you think or what you do.

So, exactly what type of activities do you have in mind?

Activities…I was referring to even just posting on a forum…and taking risks for the sense of adventure…yeah you could say I do that a bit…I have a neurological disorder so my main job around the house is to not fall down and die…I assume you were referring to my computer exploits…well the wife says i’m paranoid and my daughter says I’m probably waging war with a virus…soooo go figure…whoever or whatever it is…is sure sloppy.

Anyway,I sorta wanted to let some folks know just a bit more about being pro-life…it can esculate rather quickly to some of the scenerios* I *have mentioned…and with a 9-11 thrown into the equation along with the patriot act…our civil rights have changed considerably.I am not saying the patriot act is good or bad…its abuse will tell its own story.

Life was much nicer without the terrorist…don’t you agree

Just an old man with too much time on his hands who is in no particular rush to kick the bucket.

Humbled and grateful…

how about adopting the children that are considered “special needs” ?

I am not a martyr, but that is the best solution I can provide.

Mamamull
Waiting to adopt two more of society’s rejects

You have a great sense of humor. I assure you, you are safe on these forums. The worst I have gotten here is high blood pressure.😃

Thanks …I aprpreciate the (name removed by moderator)uts…as far as adoption…we have done foster care in the past…my Parkinsons makes me look too weird at times to do much if any youth activity…too many folks looking for bad guys…anybodoy bad guys…
As far as safety goes on this forum…hmmm not sure about that…thought I was safe on another forum only to find out that I was very wrong…the pro-death camp is armed and fighting at every turn in the journey…not just my paranoia…look into their faces when they march…once you are branded an pro-life activist my contention is they treat you more like a Pro-life terrorist….ohhhhhhhhhh well will put my sack of paranoia to rest for a bit.

thanks again for your responses.
