Has anyone ever noticed while praying that, if your unsure about something and pray about it, as your praying answers seem to come into your mind? Like, if you have to choose between 2 things and don’t know which choice is the right one, pray about it, and as you pray, or sometime afterword, you begin to realize which answer is the right one as if God is helping you make your choice?

Often, when I’m unsure and decide to pray about it, I often start realizing why one path is better than the other, and I feel that it is God helping me. Does anyone else agree?

It’s the Holy Spirit that is working in you. God will give you every answer as long as you tell him what your insecurities or uncertainies are. That has been happening to me in the past few days. I was confused in a matter of things but then I started to pray to the Almighty God and he freed me from those confusions. I understood something that was troubling me.:D;)

I also experience that while im doing my chores or homework that I hear a voice that is speaking to me as if teaching me or making sure I’m not confused about something. It’s as if im speaking to myself and giving myself the answers. I realize it’s the Holy Spirit working in me.🙂 Your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit and all it needs is the spark of your prayer so that it can start working. In other words, put it to work with your prayers.

I get that sometimes… of course, we should be discerning and not believe anything we feel, because there is deception too. But if you’ve discerned it to be right, then there’s nothing wrong with it…

sometimes when I’m really nervous about something, and I start praying, God helps me to find a better perspective on the situation (which usually involves trusting Him more ;))

God bless

I really agree with this. Don’t just follow any idea that comes into your head while praying. Discern well. Sometimes the evil one will try to send you astray this way.

I guess what I mean is, I have OCD and sometimes I worry about ridiculous, irrational things and when I pray about them I often start realizing why I shouldn’t be worrying about them and how some things are just all in my head.

Yes, I do have these experiences. But in my case, in those cases where I have concerns and don’t know what to do, or which way to turn for those problems that come my way, I do pray for an answer. I usually get my answers while I am sleeping, although I am not aware of it. When I wake up in the morning the action I should take seems very clear to me, and ends up being the right answer. This has happened to me several times. I can only believe that the Holy Spirit places the right decision into my mind while I am sleeping. I know this may sound like I’m just making this up, but it does happen to me.

My mistake is that after making the decision, I fail to thank the Holy Spirit for showing me the way. I have to do better.

I bet there are more people out there who find solutions to problems after they have a good night sleep, but perhaps do not relate this action to the Holy Spirit. Think about it. Let us hear from you.

Very rarely does that happen to me. Sometimes, when I pray about something before I go to bed, when I wake up in the morning, I tend to find the answer. Most of the time, however, I have to make up my own mind, it seems, and I try to do that in concordance with the teachings of the Church as far as a moral frame of mind goes.

False. The evil one can not influence you in any way while you are in prayer. You are communicating with the Lord and only he can influence your mind. You are safe and actually keeping the evil one away while praying so there will not be any interferance by the evil one.
