Anyone familiar with the CrossFit issues currently?

Hey all. I’ve been a cross fitter for over 5 years. I’m not really familiar with the drama, but apparently GG just got involved in more controversy. My box just deafilliated, and I’m alright with that. It seems though that it’s turning into almost a mob, especially on social media.

I think what gets me is there seems to be a notion of “if your silent your compliant”. I’ve always thought that was dangerous for social justice, and a degree of critical thinking is required. Or did I just miss something major (we are talking about GG here)? Anyone have any thoughts?

And perhaps let me state it more broadly. Should it be a business’ responsibility to not only be against injustice, but to actively fight against it in a public way? Is inaction unjust in this age?

I don’t know anything about Crossfit, but I don’t think that organizations of any sort should dilute their main goal for other things, because then they generally fail at both. I have seen this happen, and it is a mess.
