I subscribe to the “Magnificat”, which has the daily scripture readings for each month, and also information on Saints of the day, and various meditations.
Would someone be interested in the out-dated issues? Or would you have information on an individual or organization that might? I will gladly send them on.

It is a wonderful little magazine, and easy to keep close by, even when traveling.

They are great aren’t they? Our Pator has them ordered for us and we keep a copy available to read that always has to be returned. He is wonderful. It is available at Adoration, along with the Cathechism, the Bible and various other devotional books, etc…(even rosaries.)

Does your parish have an outreach program that could use them, such as a nursing home, hospital ministry, school, CCD or prison ministry, etc.? Or perhaps your parish has an adoration chapel in which you could leave your used booklets? If you aren’t sure, just call your parish office. I’m sure someone somewhere in the parish would welcome them.

Send them to a Mission overseas. They usually have to rely on donations of Catholic magazines etc because they have no funds to buy their own, and the people are hungry for such things.

People leave them in the pamphlet rack at my church. They, and other Catholic publications, vanish pretty quickly.

Another possibility is to give them to a Prison Ministry, check your diocese for a contact. Prisoners are usually avid for reading material.

Thank you for all the suggestions. Someone has come forward and requested them, so that is all taken care of. Have a Blessed Christmas, everyone!!
