It’s no wonder ex-President Obama’s last speech went after President Trump. Obama’s recent speeches are not to support his own Democrat party, they are to slam President Trump for taking away the Obama’s taxpayer-paid next vacations for the next 20 years! YUP. President Trump has canceled their vacations, and refunded the money to the American taxpayers.

PRESIDENT TRUMP JUST ENDED THE OBAMA’S VACATION SCAM!

Ex-President Obama was going to stick us for $2.1 billion or so. Before Obama left office, he arranged with the State Department for a series of “official visits” to foreign countries spanning the next 20 years. Using funds from the Office of Presidential Visits and Vacations, Obama was planning to use what would have been $2.1 billion in free vacations for him and up to 24 members of his family plus staff and even a dog sitter until the year 2036. He would have, that is, until President Trump put a stop to it. Trump, who is always looking for ways to save money, was presented with a ledger that contained all of the Obama’s travel plans and expenses. The ledger was found by one of the workers President Trump hired from outside the typical White House staff. President Trump immediately canceled the plans and recalled all Secret Service agents scheduled to protect the Obama’s anywhere outside of the United States. The Obama’s are also facing another new challenge at the hands of President Trump. They’re going to have to repay the government for all of those vacations that weren’t official state business.

The bill, after some small allowances for days that were possibly work related, is for $214 million. Of the 692 days the Obama’s spent on vacation, almost none included any work at all. They ate, slept, and golfed And, Michelle was given shopping allowances from the Office of Discretionary Gifting Funds, which is supposed to be used to buy presents for visiting dignitaries.
One more thing I found:
Michelle’s mother, who took care of the granddaughters for all 8 years of Obama’s presidency was GETTING PAID! And NOW she is getting a pension of $13,000 a month for the rest of her life. Chew on that for a moment guys; how much is YOUR social security? :man_facepalming:t2::man_facepalming:t2::man_facepalming:t2:
Here Endeth the lesson on Patriotism vs Criminal-ism. Who do you want having your back next year

FACT CHECK: Did Trump Just End Obama’s ‘Vacation Scam’?

President Donald Trump supposedly sent former President Barack Obama a bill for all the vacations the latter took before leaving office.
Unfortunately, you can’t trust Snopes on politics or Religion. They are far-Left, Atheistic, and have been caught lying in these categories.

Any unbiased sources?
Thanks!

PRESIDENT TRUMP JUST ENDED THE OBAMA’S VACATION SCAM!
I just tracked down the original source, archived at the Internet Archive Wayback Machine.

It’s from a “satire” site posing as a conservative news source.

Here is their disclaimer (from this page - ABOUT US – The Resistance: The Last Line of Defense ):

DISCLAIMER: The Resistance may include information from sources that may or may not be reliable and facts that don’t necessarily exist. All articles should be considered satirical and any and all quotes attributed to actual people complete and total baloney. Pictures that represent actual people should be considered altered and not in any way real.

By the way, that disclaimer is quoted in the Snopes article. Whatever you may think about them, they’re telling the truth about that.

The original article:

Office of Presidential Visits and Vacations
There is no such office in the Federal Government. When I did a web search on this phrase, I mainly got articles debunking this story. From multiple sources, not just Snopes.

That’s inaccurate about Snopes. Was the article truthful or not?

More to the point, did that rumor about Obama even sound accurate to you?

Thank you! Wanted to check.
Can you list an unbiased source so I can reference it please?

No idea. But what I said about Snopes is true.
No, you stated an opinion which is neither true nor false. Remember: Even a biased source can make an accurate statement. Direct your attention there.

Actually it is a fact. There are articles on it with listed lies and half-truths in these two areas, and I caught them in a lie once as well.

Snopes is actually about as unbiased as it gets.
I used to think that, too, and when it comes to urban legends they’re pretty good.

And then I went to fact check on some political brouhaha a couple years back.

I’d heard Snopes was biased, but blew off the claim.

The person in question was George W Bush, and the claim was made, and it was complicated—several different points to cover.

So, after going over each point, one by one, their final verdict was “mostly false”, even though most of the points had been true.

So, urban legends? Have at it.
Political claims? Enormous grain of salt.

For the record:

I’m not sure if the original source for this is the same as the one I’m about to tell you about, but it very well may be.

The source is called “The Resistance: The Last Line of Defense.”

There is a currently active “satire” website (scare quotes intentional) called “America’s Last Line of Defense” – actually it’s a network of several sites. The owner is a self-professed liberal troll, and he writes his “satire” articles with the express purpose of fooling conservatives into thinking they’re real. Because, basically, he thinks conservatives are dumb. So be on your guard, and don’t prove him right.

Political claims are a bit of a minefield given the polarization of US politics. But this one didn’t even pass the initial smell test. Something that big would absolutely have been on the front page of every significant newspaper in the country, no matter the editorial slant. I did not idolize or even vote for Obama either time, but I never fell into the other ditch of believing him guilty of every evil that ever existed either.

Yes, I should have made my point clear.

America’s Last Line Of Defense is a satirical website.

-and-

Snopes is biased when it comes to political issues.
