As I said in another post, I love the old-fashioned scented handmade soaps! šŸ™‚

I would like to try to make some myself, then it struck me that maybe there’s a Catholic apostolate, family, etc. somewhere that may sell such soaps. Anyone know of any? Thank you and God bless.

Haven’t heard of anything… but I’m sure you could use some clever marketing and put together a little jingle singing ā€œI’m gonna wash that sin right off 'a my skin!ā€ā€¦ :rotfl:

If you go to Monastery Greetings online they have soaps, lotions, face cream, etc that are made by religious sisters 😃

Dominican sisters who make soap - and I’ve heard it’s wonderful stuff! You have reminded me that I need to order some to try it out. šŸ™‚

There’s a monastery of Dominican nuns in Summit, New Jersey, that makes handmade soaps.

Here’s the link through the Institute of Religious Life website: www.religiouslife.com.

Go on ā€˜Womens’ Affiliates’ by either name or by location.

I think their business is called, ā€˜Seignadou Soaps’ [not sure on the spelling].

I think you might want to wash your hands of it… šŸ‘

I needed a funny today–thanks!😃

Maybe I’m crazy for plugging these sisters because they hurt me greatly, but I still have a soft spot for them. There are Benedictines in MO who make handcrafted soaps:
