I have not had health coverage of any form since 1995, but have looked at many.

Are there any Catholic Health Plans (that fully support the teachings of the church with regard to all medical practices) or Pro-Life Plans (that fully support the complete pro-life position, no abortion, no contraceptives, etc.) out there?

Have any Catholic group tried to get insurers to provide one?

Have the Catholic dioceses as a group tried to gt the insurers to provide one?

if not, why not?

How we get health care is part of how we practice our religion.

I know that where I am, Fidelis is a carrier which does not cover contraceptives. I was right miffed when I chose them (we were getting Child Health Plus for our children while my husband and I were not covered) because they did not cover that, and got a letter sent to my then 3yo son “are you sure you want to use Fidelis because they don’t cover BC” (paraphrased, but that’s the general idea).
