Anyone learning Mandarin Chinese?

I would like to share that I have been learning Mandarin and absolutely fell in love with it!

First you have to learn the four tones, and then learn some Chinese characters. I use the Duolingo app.

It’s so good for the brain. I get to type in pinyin on my phone.

I am not, but I fully encourage you to learn it if you so desire. People tend to forget, because of how large China’s population is, it is the most spoken language on earth. Not the most widespread, but the language with the most speakers. See if you can find clips of Nihao Ki-lan, I would imagine that could help with some basics.
