I like them because they have a focus on spiritual warfare and are far from being politically correct.

I like EWTN but sometimes find it bland.

I don’t listen to Relevant Radio because they disobeyed my Archbishop (Of St. Louis) and I feel I’d be betraying my archbishop who asked us to listen to Covenant Radio.

I’ve heard his show a couple of times. He isn’t exactly my cup of tea but I believe his sincerity and faith.

What did RR do to disobey your archbishop?

He is sincere, but can be a bit “loud” which may be the reason some people are put off.

I don’t doubt that you’re right. I kind of like his brashness. I’m not a fan of the view he expresses in his latest book, A Catholic Vote for Trump: The Only Choice in 2020 for Republicans, Democrats, and Independents Alike.

It doesn’t sound like you’d be disobeying the Archbishop. He just didn’t want the radio station taking over where there was already someone doing that. You are free to listen to whatever radio station you want. It has nothing to do with Church teaching or discipline.

They asked if they could station themselves in St. Louis and Archbishop Carlson said no because that would lose the current Catholic radio station money, but they went ahead and did it anyway.

Astounding considering they flaunt loyalty to the Magisterium
Oh, my. Thanks for the explanation. I thought RR was a bit off since it let go of Mother Miriam when she was so popular.

Mother Miriam is now on Virgin Most Powerful Radio. Listen from website or app

I visit the Virgin Most Powerful Radio website for the Catechism with Fr. Corapi stuff.

Jesse Romero and Terry Barber are both from Southern California, as am I, so I’ve heard them speak in person several times, in addition to occasionally listening to their radio show. I sincerely appreciate their enthusiasm for the Faith and evangelization, but I do not care for their heavy emphasis on promoting conservative causes and politics.

Have Terry and Jesse made a particularly big deal about masculinity?

I believe they have discussed it a few times since I started listening to them. It certainly would be in tune with their hardcore version of Catholicism

I have heard them talk about manly virtues, like taking care of your family and such. I haven’t heard them recently.
