Anyone memorized the Psalms?

I wonder if anyone here has memorized the Psalms, or know those who have?

I want to learn them, for purposes of prayer. I figured I should see if anyone had any good programmes for learning them before I just jumped right in.

Most older priests would have them memorized simply because they pray them every day. As do most monks, some orders practice praying them continuously throughout the day.
 
I wouldn’t memorize them. But I have been through them several times, saying one per night as an evening prayer.

The Psalms are neat.

The psalms are an integral part of the Church’s prayer. The Liturgy of the Hours is a great way of praying the psalms everyday. I can’t speak for other but I have a few favorite psalms I have memorized.
