Hi, wondering if anyone here prayed this beautiful prayer. I don’t have the Servite Rosary so I will have to use the Dominican Rosary but the recommendation to start praying this was like an answer to my prayer of wanting to get closer to our Blessed Mother as the Sorrowful aspect is very close to my entire life and only God would know that and offer this divine gift as an answer to my prayer.

Just Wondering if anyone here has prayed it or had thoughts on it.

Thank you. God bless everybody here.

I’ve never heard of it. I was raised in a Servite parish and attended grade school in a Servite school.

That’s the Seven Sorrows rosary right? I have one but I have not yet gotten to praying it. I can only do so many devotions at a time and have picked the one or two I am focusing on for this year. I would like to pray the Servite Rosary another year.

I’m glad you found a devotion that speaks to you 🙂 The pious legend is that if you regularly say that Rosary, you will see Mother Mary at the hour of your death and she will help you.

Yes! That’s right I remember it is known by other names, I should have mentioned. Thank you for sharing about that promise I didn’t even know about them when they were recommended. I can’t wait to get started.

Yes, I bought a Servite Rosary some years ago and occasionally will pray it, usually for a special request. It does bring you intimately into the sorrows of Mary, and thus closer to her.

I pray it and it’s really special to me.
I don’t have 7 sorrow rosary and pray it on usual rosary beads. Sometimes I count prayers on fingers when I am not phisycally able to use rosary.
It doesn’t matter if you don’t have one.

I have little book 7 Sorrows of Mother of God, it speaks about history of that Rosary and connection to apparations of Our Lady of Kibeho in Africa (apparations approved by the Church) when Blessed Virgin said to visionaries to pray it at least two times a week, on Tuesday (day of first apparation) and Friday (day of Our Lord’s Passion). Seven sorrow Rosary isn’t given to replace usual Rosary but to complement because it is primarily focused on the sorrowful mysteries of Jesus and His Mother. “Please pray for forgiveness. If you pray this Rosary, by meditation you will find in yourself the strength to return to God” - Mary promised. “Today, people no longer know how to pray for forgiveness. They continue to crucify the Son of God.” Mary of Kibeho promised that, thanks to this devotion, the most stubborn hearts will experience the grace of conversion, that we will be freed from various bondage and evil, the weaknesses of our character will be healed, we will know the depths of many mysteries of God, and peace will reign in our families.
