I want to know how Jesus refers to himself in the first person in those Bibles. What pronoun did the translators choose when translating the Jesus’ first person references?
I want to know if Jesus asserts his superiority or boasts in those translations by using “ore” or is more polite by using “watashi.”
I could, however, imagine Jesus saying this: "Kingu wa hitori, kono ore da! (it is at 1:30) "
(joking of course)
