Anyone seen 'Crash'?

Interesting movie isnt it? Makes some good points on racism and class struggle in the US (and North America in general).

I just brought this up because the writer and director, Paul Haggis, who won Best Picture for this film just visited my High School on monday which he attended in the 70s. Just a brief visit, but I got an autograph

Phenominal movie in my opinion. It brought to light the ugly truths so many Americans are faced with daily, including our own biased views and our own internal racism. The language is rough but if you can get around that and get to the heart of the film…WOW!

I agree. It was the kind of movie I found myself thinking on over and over again days afterward. Frankly, I think it is the first piece turned out by Hollywood that presents the concept of racism is a fairly realistic fashion. Before Crash, racist characters in films were paper-thin. (“I am racist because I am bad and evil!”) Not so in this film. Months later, I’m still reflecting on it.
