Free…kinda.

I have a few books I wouldn’t mind trading to people in exchange for other books. This would be, obviously, through the mail. Here are the books I’d like to trade:

The Degrees of Knowledge by J. Maritain
Range of Reason by J. Maritain
The Christian Philosophy of St. Thomas Aquinas by Etienne Gilson
Aquinas by Eleonore Stump
Virtue: Way to Happiness by Richard Regan
Grace, Predestination, and the Salvific Will of God by William G. Most
Love and Responsibility by John Paul II
In the Beginning by Joseph Ratzinger
Introduction to Christianity by Joseph Ratzinger
Eschatology: Death and Eternal Life by Joseph Ratzinger
Chosen by God by R.C. Sproul
The Mystical City of God by Mary of Agreda
Prayer by Hans Urs von Balthasar
The Christian and Anxiety by Hans Urs von Balthasar
Hans Urs von Balthasar: His Life and Work
The Mystical Theology of the Eastern Church by Vladimir Lossky
Not by Bread Alone by Robert Sungenis
Justification: Not by Faith alone by Robert Sungenis
Not by Scripture Alone by Robert Sungenis

If any are interested in these books and have other books they wouldn’t mind parting with to acquire them, post the books here, or ask questions about ones of mine that you have questions about.

Anyway I could just purchase the John Paul II book? like at a discount 😃

I would try you one. I have Mere Christianity C.S. Lewis.
I would like to trade it for Love and Responsibility by John Paul II.
If you want.

are you kidding me???

let me read your post, first.

ugh. i’d rather buy them. of course, if you ever wanted anything off my bookshelf you could take it. pm me if you mean free like free free. if it makes a difference, i have a habit of giving books away, but i just don’t know you well enough to send/trade you the right books.

I’m interested in the book by Stump and all of the ones by Sungenis.

Here’s what I could trade. These are all volumes from the “Great Books of the Western World” series, so each volume has the main works, unabridged, of the authors. If you’re interested in any particular one, ask me and I’ll tell you the contents of the books.

Vol. 7 - Plato
Vol. 8 - Aristotle part I
Vol. 9 - Aristotle Part II
Vol. 16 - Ptolemy, Copernicus, Kepler
Vol. 17 - Plotinus
Vol. 23 - Machiavelli, Hobbes
Vol. 32 - Milton
Vol. 33 - Pascal
Vol. 35 - Locke, Berkeley, Hume

Here you can find the exact contents of each book. Again, each of these volumes basically contains the vast majority of the author’s works. If anybody else is interested, let me know as well. Best.

Hi Exodus,

I am interested in " The Mystical City of God by Mary of Agreda". I wanted to buy that since long time, but its too expensive for me. I have to check and see which book of mine I can trade with you. But I will PM you later today about the books i can trade. Well, I have an issue, I will have to pay you the postal charges. I am not in the States…🙂
Joe

If anyone has any books by Thomas P. Flint I’d be happy to trade for them!

Actually, if anyone is interested in purchasing any of the books, I’d be willing to sell them. PM me if so and we can work out a deal.

Vol. 7 - Plato
Vol. 8 - Aristotle part I
Vol. 9 - Aristotle Part II
Vol. 16 - Ptolemy, Copernicus, Kepler
Vol. 17 - Plotinus

I couldn’t allow myself to deprive you of Plato, Aristotle, Milton, or Pascal. That would just be… criminal of me.

Also, you may as well burn Volume 35. 😛
