Anyone who isn't "holy" here?

Good advice from Tis.
Find what you enjoy about the Catholic faith.
Maybe something like beautiful artwork or church buildings. Catholic music. Anything at all that gives you some joy - and then pursue that. Remember, it’s God bringing you those moments of happiness and joy also.

I don’t think you’re odd at all. In fact you’re forthright, which is good.
If I were you I would think a little bit about the things you like about Catholicism, that make you interested or happy. Maybe make a list.
Then see if you can do those things more and focus less on what other people, who may be in a totally different place in their life from you or have a totally different background, are doing.
Remember that none of us are holier than anyone else. We’re all just sinners trying to make our way. We’re all in this together.
God bless you.
Thank you for the advice. I’m currently struggling to think of anything that interests me. I find the religion to be a chore, prayer=talking to a wall, no emotions felt during confession, etc. it’s been going on for a while. Don’t know if I’m subconsciously making up excuses but I just can’t get into anything about the faith/anything to do with God, really.

Another idea is to start with things you enjoy in life itself.

The next most important thing is love. Do you love anything or anyone?

If you’re totally dead inside (that can happen to any of us), then you have to work at it – waking up your sense of wonder. Most importantly, cultivate an appreciation.

From that comes gratitude. Are you thankful for anything?

Another good exercise - keep a journal and write down the good things you notice each day. However small.
