Anyone who's ever had a broken heart

Alright, this question is for anyone who’s ever had to deal with that lovely ordeal of a broken heart. My question is: how did you manage to get over it and heal again? Did you have a favorite saint or prayer that you prayed to or said for strength? They say time heals all wounds, and I have no doubt this is true, but is there a way to speed up the process, or “soften” the effects?

Make use, I implore you, of that particular privilege accorded to you of bringing visible and speedy help where help is almost despaired of. Come to my assistance in this great need, that I may receive the consolations and succor of heaven in all my necessities, tribulations and sufferings, in particular (My ocereating), and that I may bless God with you and all the elect throughout eternity. I promise you, O Blessed St. Jude, to be ever mindful of this great favor, and I will never cease to honor you as my special and powerful patron, and to do all in my power to encourage devotion to you. true human love can only
begin and grow by touching
His Love.

Let your gentle Peace -
which this world cannot give
  • be always with her.
    And, help her to bring this
    same Peace into the lives
    of others.

A broken heart brought me back to church! Seriously!

I would continue to go to church and go out and be social as much as you can. Heartbreak is very painful.

Remember,
O most gracious Virgin Mary,
that never was it known that any one who fled to thy protection,
implored thy help or sought thy intercession,
was left unaided.
Inspired with this confidence,
I fly unto thee,
O Virgin of virgins my Mother;
to thee do I come,
before thee I stand,
sinful and sorrowful;
O Mother of thy Word Incarnate,
despise not my petitions,
but in thy clemency hear and answer me.

I’ve had my heart broken, but managed to go
thru it by focusing on OTHER’S problems,
just as it says in Eph. 5:21-22.
