Anything scary to watch this weekend?

For me, things like goblins or monsters or things like that don’t scare me because I know they aren’t real. But, anything twisted, psycho or pure evil scare the daylights out of me because they can be real.

I agree totally with Meltzerboy’s words, " Not necessarily. There are plenty of psychological thrillers–Alfred Hitchcock films, for example–that are quite frightening, perhaps even more so than those with supernatural entities ".

I love this film too.

Very atmospheric and great cinematography.

Goblins or monsters do not exist but real evil does and mostly they come in the form of sociopaths.

Yes! I agree! Things that can really happen are more scary than those supposedly scary gore movies to me!
 
Pretty good suggestions here.

TCM has had some good black and white stuff for a nice change of pace. I’ll look into this Black Mirror show as well.
 
‘Kwaidan’ (1965), directed by Masaki Kobayashi is a set of four ghost stories based on Japanese folk tales. Probably more spooky than scary to a modern audience, but still an eerie treat for Halloween.
