Basically while I’m surfing the web I listen to music. I usually opt for youtube b/c most artists/record companies put their videos on there. I found better quality sound and unlimited songs on aol music which is free and legal 👍. Here’s my issue, When I was listening to a song on aol music, my realplayer popped up asking me if I wanted to downloading the mp3. So in theory, is it ok to take presumably free legal music, download it to realplayer, put it on a cd, and listen to it in my car? Part of me is saying what’s the difference between listening to music on a computer or in a car? The other, probably wiser side, is thinking something may be fishy.
 
Nevermind…I already know the answer to this one…the thing you play the music on shows you to itunes and napster to buy the song…o well. It is cool though that you can find almost anything in HQ except for stuff that is really new and listen for free…but
Is there a way to legally and morally download free music for personal use?
 
Limewire freely give music that’s downloadable. Now if this were illegal then Limewire sould have already been sued and shut down. So since they’re still in operation then I guess the Music companies are allowing them to ply their trade and make business when people upgrade. Thus availing of this free service is moral for me.
 
LimeWire in and of itself is perfectly legal…However what is illegal is the copyrighted music being shared with Limewire…which is why i don’t use it. Listening to music on the computer is no problem for me…Most artist put their videos on youtube or you can listen to their song for free on legal websites…it’s when you start illegally downloading copyrighted material for personal use it where I draw the line.
