Apostolic Succession chart underway

I’ve been working on a chart that will hopefully show the chain of succession that the Church has. I have so much more to do, I have only been working on this for about a day or so. I have started with Jesus and the Apostles and providing those who are successors of them and those who were influienced by them. We all know that there is an unbroken chain of succession in Rome that goes back to Peter, but I am also tracing the succession of other Sees as well.

I am also providing information and bio’s of the people in the chart, it is attached to the names and it looks like a file. You can easily move around the chart by using your mouse and holding the click button down while moving the mouse around.

My comment…on St. Paul…you should trace his line from St. Peter or from Antioch…Paul was ordained by the elders at Antioch…that is where he got his lineage…and only went on his first missionary journey after being ordained.

And I think Barnabas too…he was ordained the same time as Paul.

Where where are those churches Paul estabished? Are they dioceses now?

It might be easier for the user to work with if it had collapsible elements. Especially when you get more of it completed.

Also I didn’t see a key for the colors.

I look forward to the final product! Keep us posted…

Why not the Church in Damascus?
 
Very cool site!! If I bookmark it now, will it get future updates without having to delete and re-bookmark?
