Does anyone know what a women’s religious order asks the applicant in a psychological evaluation? Also, what do they typically ask you on the application? What psychological records do you need to give them and would they find out if you didn’t disclose your psychological records especially if it was over 20 years ago.

My only comment is, if your issue is from 20 years back, if you were not a child, you could be over the age of acceptance to an order.

All that you have to answer is yes or no in the specified box or Mark what you have.so don’t worry too much, speak to the concerned Rev Sisters or Vocational Mistress regarding your concerns only she can decide ,each religious congregation has its own rules and regulations meanwhile check out some sites of some religious considerations ,remember be truthful and answer what is required ,with prudence ,you don’t have to mention each and every detail ,trust in Jesus he can do impossible things,you you truly have the vocation and have the desire God willing he will show you the way and the means ,Even the saints where rejected ,and they has to go through convent to convent ,likewise Mother Mary also didn’t have a place to give birth to our Lord.so dont get discouraged . The tone of your post seems to be trying to find some way to circumvent the normal application process by knowing questions in advance, or even to deceive (through the lie of omission) the community about your past. This is very worrying because it indicates a desire to manipulate things in order to get your own way, rather than trusting in God through the superior of a community.

You have already received so much good advice from people here, but you seem unable to accept it. Everyone has stressed how important it is to take it one step at a time, and to trust in the process as you meet with those who have the responsibility to make the decisions about applicants.

I can tell you that every community has a different process for dealing with applicants, and different ways of going about the psychological evaluation. Some rely on questionnaires while others have you meet with a psychologist, who will ask you questions. That is why it is so important that you discuss your situation with the superior - not necessarily at first meeting, but definitely when you are making an application to enter. I don’t think you are going to get many different answers when you keep asking the same question in different ways. Maybe it’s time for you to start reading through the answers you have already been given and seeing if you can put some of the advice into practice. I do wish you all the best.
