Hello,
I have working on reclaiming my Hispanic Catholic heritage, I was wondering what are appropriate ways of using the phrase “Ave Maria Purisima,” can one use it as a greeting?

It is the first part of the short prayer ‘Ave Maria purisima sin pecado concebida, ruega por nosotros’ so do not use it as a greeting, unfortunately young people have degraded the meaning and use it as the Spanish equivalent of ‘Oh My God’. In Latin ‘Regina Sine Labe Originali Concepta Ora pro Nobis’ as written on my miraculous medal.
