I am about to have a daughter and wish to choose a name appropriate for Baptism. Are the names “Violet” and/or “Juliet” acceptable?
I think the OP is wondering if it is allowed, because at first glance, they aren’t “christian” names.What makes you think they aren’t?
It is a great tradition to be baptised with the name of a saint, but no rule that says it has to be.
