For anyone (especially in the St. Louis, MO area) who doesn’t know, Archbishop Burke is scheduled to make his first “official” visit to St. Francis de Sales Oratory in St. Louis on Saturday October 15. He will celebrate a Pontifical High Mass and will be confirming approximately 30 faithful in the traditional rite.

WHERE: St. Francis de Sales Oratory, institute-christ-king.org/stlouishome.htm

WHEN: Sat Oct 15 @ 10:00am

I am told that since this is the first official visit, there will be plenty of ceremonials. I look forward to it greatly!

Thanks for the info!

BTW - I just had the priviledge this past weekend to attend a mass with over 300 Secular Carmelites from all over the country presided by Archbishop Burke.

My pleasure. I have had the opportunity to shake & kiss his hand 3 times now I think. Once was at a benefit dinner last summer in which I thanked him for his support of the Latin Mass. His answer, “You’re very welcome!”

What I look forward to seeing is him saying a High Mass at the Cathedral. That’ll make the CWE liberals sqirm 🙂
