I really think it is time for good orthodox Catholics to boycott the source of this information. Just as there “Catholic periodicals” on the left, this is a site that presents opinion, false witness, and innuendo from the right. Neither of these types of information sources are serving the interests of the Truth but only their personal political agenda’s (both types obfuscate there bias with words of sanctimony and self-righteousness).

For those of us who live in this Archdiocese are very familiar of the issues and scandal regarding the Vicar General’s brother. The presentation of the issue in this article is extremely one-sided and makes inferences that are essentially a lie. I really don’t care if one is telling a liberal lie or a conservative lie, a lie is false witness and a grave matter.
 
The poison may run its course, but the body of the Church will survive; Its holiness will prevail.

I’m with you 100%. I can’t stand lifesite. Everything coming out of there is an editorial, usually based on half-truths, rumor, and kneejerk reactions. I’m embarrassed whenever I agree with them. Their pathetic journalism skills make the MSM look good–and I hate the MSM. They make Fox News look fair and balanced.

Sadly, they reflect a trend I’ve seen in a lot of people. People are willing to support and defend anyone making a argument in favor of a position they support regardless of the quality of the argument.
