Are actors sinning by taking the Lord's name in vain?

A friend shared with me a homily (sensustraditionis.org/webaudio/Sermons/Disk1/Movies.mp3) in which the priest asserts an actor using the Lord’s name in vain is not a simulated sin, like a movie murder, but an actual sin, regardless of the actor’s intent. He asserts that such a film violates the Pseudo-Dionysian principle of the integral good and we do wrong to participate in that sin by watching the film.

I see from this post forums.catholic-questions.org/showthread.php?t=13588&highlight=imperfect+movie and its link to Steven Graydanus’s article on Decent films that Catholic Answers has a different understanding on both of these points. What Catholic teaching can I share with my friend to prove your understanding is correct–that with proper caution, imperfect movies may be watched and that an actor’s intention to recite a line or blaspheme matters as to whether it’s a sin?

I want a properly formed conscience, neither lax nor rigorist.
Thank you!
