I read a while back that those Catholics who formally adhere to the SSPX are thereby excommunicated. Now the Pope has lifted the excommunications of the bishops, who are still suspended, but I didn’t see anything about the excommuncations of Catholics who formally adhere to the SSPX? Are the formal adherents to the SSPX still excommunicated?
“Everyone should be aware that formal adherence to the schism is a grave offence against God and carries the penalty of excommunication decreed by the Church’s law”
