Are ALL tattoos forbidden?

I hope I didn’t offend you! That wasn’t my intention! To the best of my knowledge, your right about all the things you say in your post! I was just throwing my two cents in to the general discussion.

Not at all! I’m glad you posted.

I actually think that most “body art” is kind of gross. I think some people go overboard with tattoos, like people can with anything, really.

Having said that, to each their own. I personally would never get one, but many people who I love and respect have several.

Body piercings? I have an earring, and I’m a guy. I always wear a hoop through it. I thought about a nose ring and other earrings, but now I’m a bit too old for it.

I think they’re fine…kind of cute, actually.

I guess I don’t even consider those as body piercings. I am referring to the nails coming out of people’s faces, the tubes within earlobes…that sort of thing. I actually like the little hoops below the eyebrows…don’t know how comfortable they might be, though. The tongue ones…I don’t care for…I find them disgusting for some reason, and they seem painful to me…when I bite my tongue accidentally, everything I eat/drink hurts! ~lol

I have been in staffing and recruiting for a couple of years…

Don’t get a tat where you can’t easily cover it.

You are right. They certainly don’t look professional. And I haven’t seen anyone past 40 that looks ‘cute’ anymore with those…

And, I have to say that women with tattoos all over their arms/shoulders just don’t seem to look elegant in anything…I don’t care how expensive the dress.

I think it all comes down to personal taste or preference. I find tattoos interesting. Granted some people take them to extremes but that same thing can be said of other things as well.
