I understand that in general the SSPX confines itself to religious issues and that its members and supporters are free to adopt whatever economic and political views they wish, within the confines of church tradition.
Using the word ‘socialism’ to mean the sort of economic policies generally supported by Labour parties in the Anglo world and by Social Democrats elsewhere, are there any notable SSPX people who are ‘socialists’?
P.S. I’m hoping this won’t get sidelined by a discussion based on 19th-century uses of the word ‘socialist’.
