Are booth babes even single? Provocative clothes and people in relationships

We’ve done a lot of topics about clothing and only a little less about behaviour. Cheating etc isn’t a rare find, either. But how about looking on things from a different perspective?

I’ve seen some pictures of booth babes from the E3 expos (computer games shows). They even have a galleries of that in places on the web. Like this:

While it isn’t nudity and tends to cover more than the average swimsuit, I have a problem with it. While swimsuits generally tend to be oriented on not covering rather than uncovering, this stuff is all about uncovering. To me, it looks slutty even when it actually happens to cover the whole bosom and pelvic sector.

It’s beyond me how a self-respecting woman could stand this close to men in this kind of clothing, not to mention the guys who want to touch, not only look, and the photo taking.

I have asked the question to men in a secular forum and a slight majority would have no problem with their girlfriends, fiancees or wives dressing like that.

Some say it’s a job and jobs don’t really count. Others say it depends if the woman stays faithful or not. One said it depended on the pay.

But myself, I could never be compatible with my girlfriend, fiancee or wife doing something like that. Well, I’m not talking about the situations where the girl is dressed in shorts and a tank top, or posing to photos as a computer game character that happens not to be provocatively dressed, but about the whole thing in general.

So, what are your thoughts? Would you tolerate that? Would you do that?

Thats how the media see it that people dress so mostly every young teenager girl or women is going dress that way. They see it in entertainment so they dress that way. There is pracitally no stores for a young women to get clothes that cover her whole body unless she wants to be called a granny. Thats how people are dressing these days you have to face it.

Much of the stuff is counted on sexually arousing the spectator. That’s not OK with Catholic morals, is it? People who are married aren’t supposed to obtain or give sexual gratification elsewhere. People who are engaged are expecting to be married. People who have a girlfriend or boyfriend are expecting to be engaged.

It is against the Church’s teaching but i go to an all Catholic Boys High School Saint Augustine and are sister school which is an all girl high school Our Lady Of Peace. The guys at my school all they talk about is pimping up a girl and how cool it is and some of the girls at OLP dress like they want to be pimped like them. These are both Catholic high schools yet it is against Church’s teaching.

I assumed people would be less receptive to lower forms of seduction around her, as well as more resilient to temptation. In fact, in my own case, there’s no temptation to fight when I look on those pictures, there’s only disgust. If I have erred, I apologise. A moderator should be able to cut my links out if needed. However, I believe they are necessary for refence, anyway. If you don’t know what it looks like, you can’t really know what the discussion is about.
