I don’t mean could they be worn inside-out, i mean could those rare modern chasubles with very fancy and beautiful designs on the front be worn backwards (so the design is on the back) in the event that mass is said ad orientam (hopefully
)?
Obviously, Roman chasubles couldn’t, but i mean the modern style semi-gothic ones. Im guessing some could, or is there some way that most chasubles are made that would prevent them from being comfortably worn with the design on the priest’s back? I’m sure it sounds like a stupid question, but I’m not in the practice of wearing a chasuble every day, so i thought i’d ask
