Are chasubles "reversible"?

I don’t mean could they be worn inside-out, i mean could those rare modern chasubles with very fancy and beautiful designs on the front be worn backwards (so the design is on the back) in the event that mass is said ad orientam (hopefully )?

Obviously, Roman chasubles couldn’t, but i mean the modern style semi-gothic ones. Im guessing some could, or is there some way that most chasubles are made that would prevent them from being comfortably worn with the design on the priest’s back? I’m sure it sounds like a stupid question, but I’m not in the practice of wearing a chasuble every day, so i thought i’d ask

Perhaps they could be, but I myself have not seen a gothic or semi-gothic that can be worn backside front. It wouldn’t hang right.

I think I am understanding your question…

In order for the vestment to “hang” correctly, most are cut to be slightly longer in the back, so turning those around would be difficult. It would look incredibly short in the back and far to long in the front.

Also, one has to consider the neck-line (rolled collars, mandarin collars, standing collars, etc.) These are definitely not reversible.

There is no reason, however, why the design on the front cannot be repeated on the back. That is a choice of the priest (and of course, the budget).
