DexUK, I did not excuse Matt being killed but the ugly truth of Matt being a child molester of 8 year old boys and drug dealer or courier must be said. Getting killed by 2 men in 1998 does not change the ugly truth. If defense raises a crime the gay (or transexual the mutilated gays who are more likely to commit child molestation) did such as indecent exposure, assault and battery, stalking, molestation etc. before the gay was bashed, then that must be regarded in deciding verdict. After hearing both prosecution & defense-jury decides if gay basher used reasonable or excess force. If it’s reasonable, then you acquit and if it’s excess, then what degree. For eg., if a 34 year old homosexual exposes himself to a 14 year old boy after which the 14 year old boy reacts by bashing him, the fact the homosexual committed indecent exposure crime and possibly attempted molestation (adults have no business having sex either straight or homosexual with minors), then must be regarded in deciding verdict. Gay groups call it ‘panic and proposition’ but those are mild words for indecent exposure & child molestation committed by homosexuals. If somebody is stealing from your store, then you have a right to use reasonable force (not excess) to stop the thief-to call it ‘panic and taking’ would be mild word for stealing. So if a gay commits indecent exposure, stalking, molestation, etc. then man has a right to use reasonable force to stop this. Most men and boys who are victims usu. won’t call cops to report that a gay is committing indecent exposure, harassment, stalking and molestation until some1 reacts violently and bashes the gay. George Michael of Wham! was arrested and convicted in British courts for having sex in public restrooms.
But back to Book of Matt. No, Metthew Wayne Shepard (aka Matt) should not have been killed, but** I’m not going to do a candlelight vigil for a child molester and drug dealer**. The people offended by Stephen Jimenez’s book are homosexual groups who have no rebuttal. If Stephen Jimenez had been an FRC journalist, he would likely have been condemned as 1 of those Christians but Stephen Jimenez is a gay journalist. Stephen Jimenez did a 13 year investigation over 100 witnesses and he found ugly truths. **Stephen Jimenez incidentally mentioned @ end of book that Matt molested 8 year old boys in his neighborhood when he was 15 years old and got counseling for it-Stephen Jimenez interviewed a relative of 1 of the boys who Matt molested. ** As far as questionable sources-drug dealers, junkies, and that he went into bars where drugs were sold, to learn about Matt being a drug dealer -These witnesses earn nothing saying this so they are credible and have no reason to lie. Stephen Jimenez’s evidence are 1st party witnesses he interviewed-over 100 of them over 13 years. Those witnesses verified Matt’s drugs (old news), drug dealer and courier. There are bartenders who saw both Aaron J McKinney and Matt together, so this is verified information. Matt took antidepressants which were not working and he mixed drugs-cocaine, Ecstasy and Meth with antidepressants. Matt had depression, PTSD and he mixed drugs with antidepressants. This is old news. Why could Matt have gotten involved in dealing drugs & or be a courier-$ problems-he bought them and when he had $ problems, he sold them & or was a courier-this is verified by witnesses who Stephen Jimenez interviewed. These witnesses are credible as they earn nothing saying this. Stephen Jimenez verified that Matt would use Doc O’Connor’s limousine services and was living an extravagant life. Matt had money problems with his drugs would likely sell some in order to make money.
With Stephen Jimenez writing a book to make money. Judy L. Shepard earns anywhere from $5,000 to $20,000 per speech. Judy L. Shepard’s interest is to profit from her son’s 1998 killing and push an agenda. Even after ugly truths are disclosed about Matt being a drug dealer (main part of S. Jimenez’s book) and a child molester of 2 neighborhood 8 year old boys, some people still give sympathy to him. No, Matt should not have been killed, but I’m not going to do a candlelight vigil for a child molester. It is gay groups, who have been pushing hero worship of him when he does not deserve hero worship. And while gay/lesbian groups say they are offended because Stephen Jimenez says the murder case is complicated, that is minor. Main reason gay groups are offended by Stephen Jimenez’s book is because he told the ugly truths about who the victim was. Finally, we know about the 2 cases reported but it would not surprise me if other 8 year old boys had been molested by Matt only that it went unreported.
