Are funerals held during Holy Week?

The father-in-law of a co-worker passed away earlier this morning. He is Catholic and she is asking whether or not the funeral will be held this weekend. It is my understanding that funeral services are not held on Good Friday, Holy Saturday, or Easter Sunday. Is this correct?
 
So far as I know, yes. This is particularly so if the family wishes to have a funeral Mass. No Catholic Masses are held anywhere in the world on Good Friday and Holy Saturday. It is likely that the priest will counsel the family to schedule a funeral for next week.
