My question is regarding “ghost tours” of sites that are reputed to be haunted or have ghost stories associated with them. If these tours DO NOT involve any active attempt to contact or “hunt” ghosts, and consist mainly of the tour guide repeating some of the ghost stories associated with the sites, is it sinful to participate in them?
For example, if the tour goes to an historic cemetery where one or more notable/famous people are buried and the guide tells stories of people seeing mysterious figures in the cemetery at night, etc. There are several of these tours being offered in my hometown and in other places that have sites of historic or cultural significance. Would it be wrong of me to participate in one?
