Because they do not believe in the Trinity. They are polytheistic. Proper Baptism requires a Baptism into the name of the Triune God, which is how Christ instituted it, not three deities.Why don’t they have a valid baptism? Don’t they baptise in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit? I thought that was all that needed to be said in order for the baptism to be valid. I know Mormons are quite lost when it comes to theology and I never really considered them Christian per se but at the end of the day I know there are good Mormons out there who truly desire to please God and the only way they have been taught is through the LDS church. But the basic idea here is that some can be saved but we have no way of knowing under what circumstances. That’s really sad
