Are non Catholics able to receive absolution? Part Deux

I understand (and thank you for) your answer re: non-Catholics receiving absolution. Just to confirm, is it possible for non-Catholics to enter the confessional, knowing that they won’t receive absolution but they can receive confidential spiritual guidance? Or should they arrange for such spiritual guidance outside of the confessional? Thanks again!

Ideally if someone is simply seeking spiritual guidance they would make an appointment to discuss it with the priest. However, sometimes due to circumstances and a desire to remain anonymous an individual might want to approach a priest in the confessional behind the screen. While not ideal, it is acceptable. 99% of priests would have no problem taking the time to offer spiritual guidance.
