[Compiler’s note: When I see the phrase ‘flocks of wool’ it brings to mind sheared wool on the ground, easily stepped over, or airplane flights over mountains, like flocks of sheep. What was great is now small.]

Anti-Terrorist War on the Home Front
It appears Nidal Malik Hasan was a conflicted American-born Muslim who became an infamous jíhadist mass murderer.
Medical Doctor
As early as May 2007, a bad report was filed on him from Walter Reed Medical Center, showing that he was irresponsible, and unprofessional; and yet he was promoted from Captain to Major, and permitted to counsel veterans who suffered from Post Traumatic Stress Syndrome (PTSD). He probably acquired antipathy for their suffering, and feared he would suffer similarly. He neglected to answer to phone on duty, and saw far fewer patients than other counselors.
Muslim Radical
He attended the same mosque in Virginia that some of the 9-11 hijackers attended. See NPR report of Imam Yahya Hindi, of Georgetown University. He was known for anti-American views, asserted suicide bombing in a class not designated for that topic. He corresponded with Muslim a radical cleric in Yemen that encouraged him to terrorize (qurhíbuna) the Army as a duty to Islam. He may have been conflicted about this, but once he was denied permanent leave from the Army, and called up for duty in Afghanistan, he snapped, and did what he thought was right for Islam, but was the worst thing for it! If he was not a mole placed by some agency or government, he made himself one with inevitable consequences. The home front is not yet in a war mentality against jíhadist islamists.
After Hasan shouted “Alláh-u-Akbár” and killed unarmed fellow soldiers at Fort Hood Army Base, radical Muslims in New York City boldly praised him for what he had done.
The Military needs to vet its 3,500 Muslim enlisted men and officers better.
Why not consider fire-wall protection from radical Muslim websites in the Middle East?

read. Her references to past history are accurate and clear. Not long, easy to
understand, and well worth the read. The author of this email is Dr. Christianne A. Tity,
a well-known and well respected augmentation surgeon in California.

A man, whose family was German aristocracy prior to World War II, owned a
number of large industries and estates. When asked whether many German people
believed the Nazi propaganda that was circulating at the time, the answer he gave can
guide our attitude toward fanaticism. ‘Very few people truly believed Nazi propoganda,’
he said, ‘but many enjoyed the return of German pride, and many more were too busy to
care. I was one of those who just thought the Nazis were a bunch of fools. So, the
majority just sat back and let it all happen. Then, before we knew it, they owned us, and
we had lost control, and the end of the world had come. My family lost everything. I
ended up in a concentration camp and the Allies destroyed my factories.’
We are told again and again by ‘experts’ and ‘talking heads’ that Christianity is the
religion of thoughtful, level-headed people and that the vast majority of Christians want
to exercise good critical thinking skills. Although this unqualified assertion may be
true, it is entirely irrelevant. It is meaningless fluff, meant to make us feel better,
and meant to somehow diminish the specter of mindless fanatics rampaging across the
internet in the name of Christianity.
The fact is that the fanatics rule Christianity at this moment in history. It is
the fanatics who march… It is the fanatics who started the KKK (a Christian
organization). It is the fanatics who systematically come to your door with pamphlets. It
is the fanatics who email, blog, tweet, or text their propaganda. It is the fanatics who
take over computer after computer. It is the fanatics who zealously try to spread their
ill-reasoned messages.
The hard, quantifiable fact is that the thoughtful and level-headed majority, the ‘silent
majority,’ is cowed and extraneous.
Communist Russia was comprised of Russians who just wanted to live in peace,
yet the Russian Communists were relentless with their propaganda campaign. The
critical-thinking majority were irrelevant. China’s huge population was level-headed as
well, but Chinese Communists managed to spread their messages which again ended in
violence.
The average Japanese individual prior to World War II was not a mindless,
propaganda-loving sadist. Yet, Japanese were subjected to an insidious propaganda
campaign, which culminated in an orgy of killing, and although the orgy part may sound
good the killing part was undeniably bad.
And who can forget Rwanda, which collapsed into hate-filled propoganda. Could it not be
said that the majority of Rwandans were at one time ‘critical thinkers’?
History lessons are often incredibly simple and blunt, yet for all our
powers of reason, we often miss the most basic and uncomplicated of points:
Critical-thinking Christians have been made irrelevant by their silence.
Critical-thinking Christians will become our enemy if they don’t speak up, because like
my friend from Germany, they will awaken one day and find that the
fanatics own them, and the end of their world will have begun.
Critical-thinking Germans, Japanese, Chinese, Russians, Rwandans, Serbs, Afghans, Iraqis,
Palestinians, Somalis, Nigerians, Algerians, and many others have paid the highest price
