Hello All!

Is England as good as it gets in this life?

I’m Dylan and I am always happy now! I love Jesus a lot and I’m so happy about what is meaningful in life and that’s all I care about! I do live in England with people that are not like me and I’m different to everyone! I am kind of like an African man always happy, only cares about doing good and works hard lol I moved to Denmark and that was just as bad as England lol so I came back I’m pretty much a model Catholic now, but I’m just lacking a bit of direction.

I know that Catholics are meant to be suffering servants like Jesus, so because I am happy all of the time this is no problem for me with Jesus as my drug - I used to take drugs but no need with Jesus as my drug now So I’d be happy staying in England if it’s the same everywhere

So is the Philippines the best place for me? I don’t care about poverty… I will be able to get an accountancy job over there anyway What are they like over there?

Or should I become a priest? I mean, I’ve got women that like me. There is a woman that can’t find a man and she’s upset, so maybe I could make her life and be her husband… I dunno

As far as if you should be moving from country to country…your post made me think of the old saying, “wherever you go, there you are.” Meaning, you can’t really move away from YOU, you know what I mean? And in my experience, where you live doesn’t matter nearly so much as who you are, who you’re sharing your life *with *and where you happen to be in your own own life spiritually.

Whether to be a priest or marry is a HUGE question. Have you talked to your priest about this? Maybe it’d be good if you could find a spiritual director or something…? In my opinion though, you shouldn’t get married just because you know a girl who’s willing or wanting to be married, you know? I’ve heard that if it’s something you really should pursue, you’ll know. Anyhow…just my rusty $.02. God bless you in your discernment!

You do realize that you are stereotyping right? Talking about being like an African man. And are you sure that it is Jesus that is your drug, and not a real one? Your post was a little hectic and didn’t make much sense. What exactly is your question?
