Hi, I’m Jamie, and I scrapbook. I am also coverting to Catholicism. I am trying to scrapbook that journey, and I was wondering if anyone else here scrapped.

If so, how have you expressed your faith in your scrapping?

Yep - How cool for you! Actually, I have been journaling my re-version to Catholicism as I go through a trial. That has been an interesting thing.

One of the projects I did with my 8 yr old for his 1st Eucharist and Confirmation was to scrapbook his experience before he made his sacraments - ways in which he saw God.

Scrap on with Christ, Jamie. That ought to be ONE GREAT BOOK when you are done.

Yes, I scrapbook. And scrapbooking your journey to Catholicism is a wonderful idea.

Right now I am srapbooking all of my parent’s pictures from the time they got married…1942…my Dad went into the army…1942…was in France, Germany and the Battle of the Bulge…and all the correspondence they shared. My Mother saved everything from pictures to old postcards to German marks and concentration camp money. Then I’m going to make copies for all of my siblings.

I’m fairly new to scrapbooking, but have dabbled in it for quite some time. I am also new to Catholicism (my husband and I are beginning the RCIA classes on 9/19) and I hope to scrapbook the journey. I’m so excited!
