Are there lots of veteran CAF members who haven't migrated?

I was just curious. I’m not a veteran, just a frequenter, or something such like that. So it seems like there must be lot of members who aren’t here. (as yet) Is this true? Who are they?

Yes I believe there are some who never planned to migrate and some migrated but have vowed not to return because they don’t like the new format and there are others who have transitioned easily.

Yes there are many, It’s not cool to name them.
There are also formerly banned people and problematic people who have returned under new names.

Such is life.

If they don’t change their ways I suppose they will be banned again. 🤔

Not nearly as quickly as before though.

With the wiki editing function, it could get really ugly.

Maybe administrator will alter parameters to adjust. Especially if they get flagged by enough people promptly.

I feel the same, that it seems tactless to name them, not because your question isn’t a valid one, it is,
but if they haven’t come over they’ve made a decision that needs respect.

I feel their absence though, some with a great deal to share, and some with whom we shared confidences and friendship. Even some who disappeared long ago, I still think of them and sometimes miss them.
This is a good thread to jog us into a prayer for our friends who are no longer posting beside us.

That’s a fabulous idea. Some of them are very angry.

I am one who dose not like the new format. My vocation pake was deleted along with over 30 members. I don’t find this new format to be ‘warm and fuzzy’ and family-like. I look in occasionally, but that is it. Mary Estelle

And it looks like it will be getting worse. It is being “advertised” – that CA is now a free for all.

Below is from one of the toxic trad sites.
I don’t know if anyone here is aware (or cares), but the Catholic Answers forums have been completely revamped and so far traditionalists have been allowed to post without fear of censure, ban, or moderation. I don’t want to steer traffic away from FE, but I know many of you who post here are intelligent, articulate, and cool-headed when speaking about issues important to traditional Catholics. That said, I think that you could do a great service to the Church by making your voices heard on CAF. They have such a large reading audience, and many posters who come inquiring about tradition are often discouraged from it by a handful of modernist or neo-con leaning posters who seem to patrol the Traditional Catholic sub-forum. Please consider making your voice heard on CAF! God bless you all!
