Are there no Old Testament "saints"?

When I visit websites that feature the names of saints, I notice that the main characters of the OT are not listed. Not Adam, Abraham, Moses, David, Elija, etc.

Apparently only characters from A.D. qualify. Is there a policy reason for this? Surely Abraham and Moses were saved.
