Are these promises valid?

I was thinking about a situation nowadays. Actually it happened with me… When I was younger, I didn’t fully understand what a promise/vow really meant. I (at the time) considered them as simply intentions, but not necessary actions. So I did a couple of promises (which I don’t even remember) but never did them… Are them valid? Am I in mortal sin? Do I need to dissolve them? Please, tell me your opinions…

You are not even sure what promises you made, so I would say no, there is no mortal sin.

If you made promises that were incapable of you to do, then no my opinion is that you are not in mortal sin. You just bit off a little more than you can chew. Ask God to forgive you and dismiss you from this.
